We
selected Acronis True Image because it was easy
to configure and use. It did not require an IT
professional. Our Technical Support staff enthusiastically
accepted the application.

I
have just upgraded from Acronis True Image 6.0
to version 8.0 and I am impressed. I needed to
use the incremental facility urgently as I realised
that it was over 12 months since my last full
backup! I shall not hesitate to recommend Acronis
True Image to my UK colleagues as a powerful,
easy to use tool, that can be relied on.

Just
wanted you all to know that here on the road at
a customer site I was foiled at using Ghost (and
in particular being able to download Ghost after
purchasing it) and so hit Google for an alternative.
I found Acronis True Image and it absolutely rocked!
From creating a boot CD on installation (which
is what I really needed), to finding my USB drive
flawlessly, to managing a multi-partition Linux
drive clone, you saved my butt and I am thankful.

Just
a short note to thank you for a superior product
in your Acronis True Image.
I have had two occasions in the last five months
to have to completely restore my computer.
Each time it worked flawlessly and completely restored
my C drive and all programs — even the very
protected ones with digital signatures.
The program has saved me countless hours of rebuilding
and reconfiguring time and is one of the best programs
I have ever worked with. |

I
got your e-mail address from a friend who recommended
Acronis True Image to me. About a week after I
purchased your software I had an opportunity to
use it. I am a computer programmer. I program
trading systems for stock and futures trades using
a platform called TradeStation. I booted my machine
and discovered that all of my TradeStation programs
were wiped out. Acronis save me an enormous amount
of work and frustration. It was simple to get
all of my files back.

I
am an enterprise software developer and have evaluated
and deployed software for backup and recovery
from Symantec, PowerQuest and Acronis, and I can
say that Acronis is the clear winner. Acronis
is easier, faster, and more effective. Acronis
also provides superior customer service and technical
support, both of which are critically important
when I am managing my systems and protecting my
data. In my opinion Acronis is must-have software,
and I can highly recommend it over its competitors.

Just
want to left you a note of a very satisfied customer.
A few years ago I bought a copy of Powerquests
DriveImage version 5. Later on I upgraded it to
version 6 (version 2002). That last version worked
quite well up until I installed my brand new 200
Gb harddisk. It then appeared that the Caldera
DOS version DriveImage was using to boot into,
got into troubles. I even considered updating
to version 7 (as that version images a drive without
leaving Windows I guessed it would work) until
I read some newsgroups. Not so many people were
satisfied...In one of the reviews I found on the
net, your name was mentioned and I am glad I followed
the link.
Since your full product price was equal to the
upgrade price of DriveImage 7 I thought... what
the heck. And after just one evening playing around
with Acronis True Image I must say I love it.
Everybody is complaining about Microsoft, but
actually almost all of their products feel "mature",
not so many others do. I have just a few of them...
and since tonight Acronis True Image is one of
them. The way it handles the "Secure zone"
is just fabulous. Booting into it works like a
charm and mounting an image from it is peanuts!
I hope you will continue to develop this great product...
with Symantec taking over Powerquest you already
lost one competitor (I guess they will have to make
a choice between DriveImage and Ghost) and you are
on your way to leave the remaining one behind as
well (I hope ;-)). |

I
purchased Acronis True Image awhile back under
your Norton Ghost® special offer, and I just
wanted to tell you how pleased I am with your
product. (When I first tried to save and rescue
I had some severe problems which I contacted you
about, but in fact, those problems were not related
to your software, but to a short in the motherboard.
Since then...) I have had no trouble whatever
with using your Acronis True Image and find it
so useful for saving and restoring a "clean"
copy of my OS (Data and programs are on separate
partitions), that I have convinced a number of
other people to purchase it also. And they are
equally pleased. I love how fast it can restore.
I love that I can deal with partition level backup
from within windows while I'm doing other things.
Now I'm just waiting for the next version where
I'll be able to restore selective files from the
image :)

Congratulations
on your PC Magazine Editor's Choice Awards.
I would like to tell you that I have bought Acronis
True Image 7.0 some time ago, because of very
good tests in two Dutch Magazines. I bought it
from the company Easy Computing in The Netherlands.
This is a translated version, in Dutch. I very
much like this program. I used to have Drive Image
from Powerquest and bought Acronis True Image
because of the translation in Dutch and some reviews
in computer magazines in my country. |

I
have just bought Acronis True Image 6.0 following
diastrous experiences with Powerquest's new version
of Drive Image which stopped my PC from rebooting!
I have never written to a software publisher
in praise of anything but, in this instance, I
find that your product has so impressed me, and
in this regard I speak as a software author myself,
that I simply must let you know how supremely
competent Acronis True Image is.
I've already done a couple of complete system
restores of an XP installation from image files
on my network, one from within XP and the other
by using the boot CD. In each case the restore
was flawless.
I am particularly impressed by the drive mounting
facility and the fact that this works at the operating
system level rather than requiring the use of
a special viewer applet which PowerQuest's product
requires.
Quite how a utility running on a Microsoft operating
system is able to lock the system drive and then
bypass the API so that a disc can be read at the
sector level is a mystery to me but this is exactly
what Acronis True Image seems to do and with great
reliability.
So well done Acronis, I shall be recommending
Acronis TrueImage to everyone I do business with. |

I
just wanted to tell you how impressed I am with
your product. I bought Ghost for $70.00 and was
never able to use it, it did not like my CDRW
drive, and their tech support told me they had
not tested with that drive so you are on your
own. Your product works perfectly, and has already
helped restore an accidently corrupted file.

I
own registered copies of Partition Expert, OS
Selector, Acronis True Image and now Acronis Privacy
Expert Suite. Recently, I had a problem with not
being able to create a bootable CD with Partition
Expert and contacted Technical Support by e-mail.
The response from your Technical Support was
absolutely terrific. Every effort was made to
solve my problem over a period of time and after
a number of "fixes" were tried, the
problem was overcome.
I was impressed by the commitment of your Technical
Support to sorting out my problem - this is in
direct contrast to some other major software companies
whose products I have and whose support I have
requested.
Because of this, I have since purchased Acronis
True Image and Acronis Privacy Expert Suite. Your
software is, for me, excellent and I shall continue
to use it in favour of other similar software
which I own. I shall not be purchasing "their"
upgrades and new versions in future but shall
continue with Acronis. |

One
of the drives in my raid array (which is my system
disk) got a broken connector. Turns out Serial
ATA connectors are as weak as crap. Anyway. Luckily,
I had made an image using Acronis True Image 7.0.
Western Digital replaced my drive, but then I
had to hold my breath and HOPE that Acronis True
Image would restore correctly. Well, the whole
process was painless and worked like a charm.
Especially impressive because I restored from
an external USB 2.0 drive. THANKS! If I would
have had to RE-install all those programs, and
REset all those preferences, etc. it would have
been a NIGHTMARE! Thanks for making a product
that does what it's supposed to do. And I didn't
have to install .net framework! or whatever it
is, like Drive Image would have forced me to do.

I'm
really impressed (particularly after my successful
hard drive restore) with Acronis True Image 7.0!
Until that happens, everything else is but a
mute point and only academic.
Acronis True Image 7.0 is much faster than 6.0
by backing up in 2/3rd's the previous time with
much more data. About 30 GB's.
Also the quick validation of the archived data
in about 1/2 the backup time. This gives me a
"warm fuzzy" of the integrity of my
backup.
Also the startup access without rescue media
that is also restored back to a hard drive partition
intact is a neat feature.
One thing that really impressed me with Acronis
True Image 6.0 and 7.0, is the ability to also
restore files from a virtual drive. A single backup
operation for both drive imaging and individual
file restorations.
I cannot even conceive a more simple, complete,
and reliable protection of system data and software
as Acronis True Image accomplishes. Your software
was truly enhanced by your Acronis True Image
7.0 release.
It truly is worth the low price charged. It will
be very hard for a competitor to top your features
without duplicating your unique software design. |

A
gui imagining product. Sure... whatever."
I could not believe my eyes!
I can not tell you how happy this product has
made me. It is a lab nerds dream to have such
a product. A dream come true. So simple but so
tremendously powerful. Incredible! You have reduced
the imaging of my lab computers down to an amazing
incredible reduction in time. The ease that it
went on to the systems. That incredible boot CD/floppy
boot disk! The products ability to recognize it's
hardware environment pretty much blew me away!
I can walk around with a USB Mass Storage Device
and Acronis True Image Boot CD and be a complete
mad man! This product is amazing!
Being hard headed about a mainstay product, cost
me hour after hour of frustration trying to get
that "spooky" software to work. Your
product is amazing and makes theirs look ridiculous.
I wonder how many other people out there are going
through the same frightening experience. I am
shocked at how your product differed in easy of
use and speed. Really, the best $50 bucks I think
I have spent in a long long time.
Incredible. I can not say enough about the product!
You have totally embarrassed the competition! |

Acronis
True Image is the first backup program I am excited
about and am recommending to others. I've been
seriously burned by Microsoft Backup since it
doesn't backup everything (and doesn't bother

Acronis True Image leaves it in the dust.

Thanks
for the reply to my e-mail. You were right. I
purchased Acronis True Image 6.0 and I must say
it is a great program. I backed up my Hard Drive
C: with all the operating system files and programs
on to Hard Drive D:(which is another partion on
the physical drive). It took about 30 minutes
to back up 18.5 Gb with a 3rd compression. Then
just to see if it would work I put in the bootable
rescue disk I had made during installation and
let the computer boot to this disk. From the time
I put the disk into the drive till I got my system
completely back up and running was about 15 minutes.
Everything was the same as when I backed it up.
It deleted the old information and reinstalled
the new information from my backup copy in less
time than I could make a pot of coffee. This is
really a terrific program. It does all you say
it will. Now there is no more all day affairs
trying to recover from a fatal crash.

I
picked up Acronis True Image 6.0 the other day
and it has already been a godsend.
What an incredibly useful and powerful program.
Even easeier to use than what I've used for disk
imaging from the competition.
I will probably try your other products. Acronis
True Image is on my highly recommended list. |

Congratulations
on getting PC Magazine's Editor's Choice Award
for Acronis True Image 6. It's been my choice
for months. Glad I recognized outstanding software,
even before PC Magazine told us it was outstanding.
It's pulled me out of many crisis situations,
so I consider it as essential as tires on a car,
or water to drink.
Sometimes I wonder if I'm just burning images
for the fun of using Acronis True Image. Hum?
Anyway, keep the great products coming. I also
like Acronis PartitionExpert. |

I
downloaded your 15 day trial of Acronis True Image
and find it to be superior in all ways to the
competition. I have used Ghost and Drive Image
for as long as they have been on the market. I
have used them professionally at work and home.
I am ashamed to say that while we in the I. T.
department have a lot of heavy computer experience,
we still have trouble with this process, very
touchy. With Acronis True Image their is very
little to confuse, the interfaces are extremely
intuitive. I have tried to teach my wife how to
use Drive Image in case I get hit by a bus and
she needs to resolve a bad drive. She said that
the drive will have to follow me due to the confusion
of these competitive products. When I introduced
her to Acronis True Image she was able to totally
understand the process and feel 100% confident
in restoring drives and files. We will definitely
order when the new version is out. Thanks!!!

I'm
utterly impressed! This has to be the best piece
of software I have come across in many years.
I have tried 15 or 20 different imaging software
brands in the past several months, including Paragon's
Hard Disk Manager, Bootit NG, Norton Ghost®,
a couple of PowerQuest's products and several
other not so well known products, but without
a doubt, whether they worked or not, not a single
one can match Acronis True Image 6.0 for proficiency
and ease of use.
I use it on a Windows 98 OS and was going to
give up ever getting a product that worked as
I thought it should - Acronis True Image 6.0 was
my final program to test and I almost didn't anyway.
Am I ever glad I did! This is an excellent product
-far superior to any I have tested for disk imaging.
It is well worth every penny of it's cost, and
I have already lined up several more sure sales
from people I've spoken with that were waiting
to see what I choose.
Thanks for a wonderful piece of software. |

I
also would like to let you know that last night
I purchased Acronis True Image 6.0 and gave it
a whirl on the SCSI RAID system that was the subject
of our last communique.
What a wonderful product you guys have created!
You've taken a very complex and powerful tool
and made it so simple that it borders on sheer
elegance. The simplistic look and feel of this
feature packed product is mind blowing!
This program built a set of complex boot floppies
without any gripes or special user input. The
bootloader detected the scsi controller... the
busmaster controller... and the arrays... and
then booted the system like it was no effort at
all. Let me tell you... even Windows XP Pro setup
cannot do that!
The GUI is beautiful and extremely well implimented.
I am truly impressed. Acronis has earned my respect
and gets highest recommendation.
Keep up the excellent work. |

I
just wanted to send an email to say how happy
I am with True Image 6.0. I was in desperate need
of a way to image a partition on an IDE RAID controller.
I previously had used Norton Ghost but it failed
to have support for RAID drives. Luckily I found
your product. It worked flawlessly and it is far
better than any other product I have used. I especially
like the bootable CD option. Keep up the good
work!

After
trying your Acronis True Image, I bought it myself
for home use. Another technician convinced his
department to buy it because yours was the only
product out there that could image a RAID.
I have tested True Image at home on XP, 2K, Linux
and dual-boot systems and, as a result of being
so knocked out by the product, am promoting it
to technicians and groups as a group/department
solution for their imaging needs. TrueImage saved
my bacon on one particularly thorny problem where
two of your better-known competitors wouldn't
even recognize the drive to be imaged. On top
of that, the native maintenance of file journals
when imaging ext3 partitions/drives is a huge
boon and time saver as is the built in TCP/IP
capability without having to reboot networked
target with a dos floppy.
I really appreciate your marketing/licensing
scheme as not only fair and equitable but also
as a good pattern for the industry as a whole
in these down-turn times. It allows "embedded"
and independent techs to add a very valuable tool
to their arsenals without the threat of bankruptcy
or license violation.
Thanks for making a good solid product. |

Acronis
True Image worked perfectly. My Netware server
has a small Dos partiton and a Netware partiton.
Other image programs could not deal with the Netware
partiton. I used Acronis True Image to image the
whole drive. It restored perfectly to a new HD...
so I now have a great way to handle backup and
disaster recovery. Thanks!
Comments about my experience so far...
1. Thanks for trusting me to buy it if it worked.
Most suppliers would just say "buy it, and
return it if it doesn't work".
2. I love the way it sees the rest of my network!
No need to create network enabled boot disks.
I simply shared a drive on another machine and
saved the image over the network. Even other Windows
machines can't find each other but Acronis True
Image can... |

Several
month's ago we began deploying Windows 2000 to
a number of our clients. We evaluated several
imaging solutions including Microsoft's RIZ and
Powerquest's Deploycenter and arrived two conclusions:
First, that RIZ's required network cards and other
setup was more complex then we wanted. Second,
that Deploycenter was way too expensive and extremely
top heavy. After doing a search on the Internet,
purchasing and using Acronis True Image I am happy
to say that the software and your company has
exceeded our every expectation - thank you!
During our first deployments, we used Acronis
True Image to deploy one software image to many
of the same type of machine. We found that it
actually didn't have support for the built-in
NIC's, but your support department was very helpful
and we found a quick resolution to the problem.
On the second stage of deployment, we were upgrading
many machines and we found that by imaging the
machines first we could perform upgrades without
any risk of data loss. And if an upgrade went
totally wrong we could easily restore the original
image in about an hour. Now after deploying the
machines, we have images of each user's pc so
if anything ever happens we can easily restore
it to the way it was on the day we installed Windows
2000.
Acronis True Image is not only a great imaging
product it is a great insurance policy! We are
going to require that all of our clients purchase
at least one copy and keep it on location for
our remote support.
So we just wanted to say thanks for making a
great product, having great support and making
our lives a little easier. |

Just
bought Acronis True Image Ver. 7.0 and gave it
a thorough testing. I have been using Acronis
True Image Ver. 6.0 for some time now and must
say that the newer version is absolutely awesome.
Loads of new features that were missing in Acronis
True Image Ver 6.0 and which I will definitely
be using in the future, especially like the incremental
backup, the hidden partition and Start-up Recovery
Manager. Great product, great user manual, both
easy to read and implement, well done Acronis
yet another great product and worth every penny
especially the nice freebie of the Recovery Expert.

I
own Norton Ghost®, Drive Image and now Acronis.
There is absolutely no comparison. Acronis wins
hands down. It is fast, reliable, works in Windows
and can backup to a wide range of media, including
DVD. Initially it seemed too good to be true,
but over the last year I have used it in lieu
of my backup programs, in migrating from an IDE
hard drive to a RAID zero system. I am now fearless
in messing with my computer since I have full
confidence in my ability to turn back the clock.
I have convinced many friends to switch to it
and their response is the same as mine. Unfortunately,
it is not as well known in the U. S. as the vastly
inferior Drive Image and the even poorer Norton
Ghost®. Thanks for a great program.

I
have been a Symantec Norton Ghost® user for
many years and thought that their software was
as good as it gets - that is until today. I installed
Acronis True Image 6.0 and to my surprise, it
was so simple to image my drive onto CD-R/W discs
and restore the image back to my PC. Outstanding
job and so easy while performing all its imaging
while still in windows! And no more booting into
DOS just to restore an image - Acronis True Image
6.0 will be my choice of software for a long time
to come.

I
have used Ghost 2003 for my backups but always
had problems with some of my 8 (!) computers.
A few days ago I bought a Maxtor 80 Gb ext USB
1.1/2.0 hard drive. After wrestling for hours
with downloads from Ghost and installing extra
drivers from Ghost I finally got it to work on
one computer. (Ghost works ok here most of the
time, with partitions on the internal C: drive
but last week one of my laptops lost the HD and
of course the Ghost backup).
Ghost will not work with my old USB1 L10/10 Gb
external hard drive.
After spending a few hours on google trying to
find an answer, and reading Ghost horror stories,
I came across Acronis True Image 6.0. After spending
an other hour looking at reviews of that software
I downloaded the Acronis software and put it on
a cd. They have a special for $9.00 for users
of Ghost!!!
Now get this! That software works on ALL of my
computers and even the 4 year old USB 1 ,yes 1
not 1,1 ext hard drive. And it does it in Windows.
It is however not very fast but that is a minor
trade off for me. The slow speed could be caused
by my use of USB 1.1. I use XP, 98 SE, 2K. The
recovery CD or 5 floppies will work on any computer
or operating system or No operating system at
all! So unlike Ghost you only need one recovery
cd.
Look at the reviews in google, for $9.00 finally
something that works! (At last for me) |

This
is the first time I've ever written to a company
to praise them on a product I have purchased,
but in this case I felt the need to do just that.
I own a small Video Production Company with three
server type computers. Each has over 800 Gb of
video RAID storage. Over the past three weeks
I've been trying to get three editing systems
with new motherboards and hard drives back on
line so I could do work again. I had Norton Ghost
2003R and Powerquest DriveImage 7 to Image the
old drives to the new larger drives. For three
weekends now I've gone through the process with
each software on each system of updating the OS
drives with nothing but error messages, boot problems
and crashes. Each computer had different brand
or model hard drives, but all had the same new
motherboards. I had written to both companies'
tech support staff and tried the fizboot, Windows
XP Recovery CDs; DriveImage was tried with the
copy drive feature and the image feature. In each
case the software would create the image fine.
The only problem was my computer wasn't able to
read it. I mean everything had been tried and
only one of the three systems was even able to
boot after all this. I was angry at myself mostly
for tearing down all three systems at the same
time, but I had done this before only new OS were
installed on each. This time was different because
I have hundreds of programs installed into the
OS and wanted to image the old HDD to the new.
Sounded simple enough.
I decided to search the web for possible third
imaging software, even though I thought the problems
were some little things wrong with equipment compatibility
for each of the systems. I then came across Acronis
True Image 6.0 and Acronis Migrate Easy 6.0 (with
Acronis PowerUtilities). I purchased both and
tried Acronis Migrate Easy on each system to transfer
the OS to each new Drive. Within forty-five minutes,
all three systems were up and running again with
no boot problems, no crashes and no errors.
There was nothing wrong with the compatibility
of my equipment and nothing wrong with the install
or partitioning of my drives. The problem was
the Imaging software I was using!!
After dealing with Norton and Powerquest about
their products and being made to feel like an
idiot, all of the extremely tedious work and headaches,
I had to write to you and praise Acronis for the
fantastic products that actually "work as
advertised" with no pain, and a manual that
explains everything perfectly. Great Job! I will
be an Acronis user from now on! The software seems
to be written and tested (for Windows XP) so well,
I'm looking into purchasing everything you have.
Thank You for getting my Company back Up and
running again so easily! |

True Image 6.0 is an excellent product and one
which I will reccommend highly!

Could
this be? An imaging utility that actually does
what it says? Could it be so easy? I restored

assured that because I now have Acronis True Image

would deserve it!

I
am totally stunned at True Image's simplicity.
I thought that I could not get a reliable image
of my portables hard disk, but with 'True Image
Deluxe' it's done without any trouble at all.
What a result, after I have tried all the competitors
software, and what a bargain of an upgrade for
ANY portable computer user! Being able to restore
files from a mounted partition image, as a new
logical drive letter is so inspired. The manual
is also very well laid out. Stunning, just get
it before you regret it is my advice. I expected
a clash with Direct-CD but no trouble at all,
you know what you are doing! Such a pleasure to
see quality software like Acronis True Image Deluxe.

cloning app, and I'm going to recommend it over
Ghost. Keep making great software and thanks for
a "working" clone of my Linux drive.

Acronis
True Image Deluxe is the single most impressive
program I have ever purchased. In this day of
viruses, worms and crashes, I finally have a real
sense of security. I have tried all other imaging
utilities, most operating from DOS, and they are
very cumbersome and full of glitches. Acronis
True Image Deluxe is by far the easiest, most
intuitive and accurate program for backing up
complete drives.

I
love your Acronis True Image product and will
recommend it to all who ask me for a good backup
program. Acronis True Image is quick and reliable,
and its ability to restore not just a partition
but individual files makes it just what I need.

I
was using Norton Ghost® previously, but it
doesn't come close providing the value and ease
of use I have found with TrueImage Deluxe. Thanks
for a great product!

I
recently purchased Acronis True Image. This is
by far the best image program I have ever used.
Without rebooting it made an image of my Win2k
system, which was running at the time. Amazing!
Also restoring an image from a multiple CD set
finally worked for me! Never did with PowerQuest
Drive Image. I have already recommended Acronis
True Image to all my friends.

I
have used Drive Image Pro for the last couple
of years and Acronis True Image is defiantly a
superior product. You guys have managed to hit
all the hot buttons on my wish list for an imaging
product.

Due
to the nature of our business, we must upgrade
hard drives to accommodate our product line. In
the past we had to rely on Norton Ghost® to
move our system drives over, keeping our fingers
crossed. Finally there's a product that is fast,
easy, and reliable with no special booting requirements.
Hats off to Acronis for a wonderful product. Thanks
guys!

I
recently purchased Acronis True Image Deluxe.
It is brilliant and well done, and it leaves Ghost
for dead. I only wish I had known about Acronis
True Image Deluxe years ago. Thanks again, well
done!

an excellent product and does exactly what I wanted
it to do. I wish I had looked into this years
ago, because now its so quick and easy to switch
between operating systems and set up test environments.
